the spring soiree

last weekend my youth group had a formal banquet. it was a lot of fun. we played games, took funny pictures, ate a wonderful meal, and just enjoyed being together as a youth group. i feel like posting pictures from it so enjoy. oh and sorry if some of the pictures are a little fuzzy my camera is really old and dinky and doesn't take good pictures but i still use.

Evangelism Explosion

for the past 13 weeks of my life i have spent my Wednesday nights learning how to give the gospel in a clear and concise way through a program called Evangelism Explosion, or for short EE. this class was a requirement for me to be able to go to New York City with my youth group on a missions trip this summer. when i first started taking this class i thought it was really stupid and pointless and i didn't like all the work i had to do for it. recently this class has been a real encouragement to me. i am now ready to go to NY and tell everybody the gospel. this class has done so much for my relationship with Christ. tonight i had the oppurtunity to go through the program with this man named steve. please pray for steve because he seemed really interested in what i had to say but was not ready to give up some things in his life. i know a seed was planted and pray that the Lord would convict him and that he would be saved. right now i have a real burden for Steve and i have never felt this way about a lost soul before but it is a wonderful feeling and i know that i will be praying for steve and if we all pray the Lord will work a mighty work in steve's heart. just please be praying for Steve.
