welcome home dad!
my dad just returned tonight from his rendezvous in ireland. he said it was really pretty over there. i wish i could've gone. he is really tired and he looks like he is drunk because of his jet lag. the souvenirs were great. i got a pair of pretty earrings and a t-shirt. i love them both. i just want to put in a random comment but one thing i wouldn't want to do is fly to ireland. i HATE flying. it is fun going up into the air but once you are up there i am really nervous. i get nervous about the turbulence and the shaking. maybe i am stupid. that was just my random comment for the day. the point of this post is to say that i am glad my dad is back.

well there are reasons for my fears that i won't go into. i like the feeling in the stomach that you get i just don't like being up that high in the air for that long. besides if you want to get that funny feeling in your stomach you should just go on a roller coaster.
roller coasters are fun, but none of them go 30,000 feet into the air, none of them can go barreling upward whilst you jump out, parachute attached, and skydive to the ground. for me planes are kinda cool, all the science and formulas behind them, and i've always wanted to own a helicopter
helicopters are very dangerous.
the amount of safety precautions they take on helicopters is astounding the only way an untrained person can be in any danger in one, is if he is being shot at or he is drunk
but while in the air unless your careless with your instruments you are in far less danger than when you're in a car
so not true! if you have somebody who gives you bad directions you could crash and die. it scares me. what if somebody from the tower or wherever messes up and tells the pilot to go a little bit to the left they do it and they die. that is scary.
do you ever wonder why there are so many people in one of those towers? they're all there to help not only the people in the aircraft but also themselves. they catch their buddies in error and save lives, because they're always alert. why do you think they drink so much coffee?
flying is possibly the greatest thing ever...
that is not true!!!!!!!! if you only knew! the fear of flying is not irrationsl!!! and you have made me really really really really mad! everybody is different and flying scares me! so i'm different than you in that i think flying is scary. so leave me alone!
I would like to reiderate that I did not say that your fear of flying was irrational. I personally have a "fear" (i.e. healthy vote of no confidence) of plywood (a plywood bed fell on me when I was 4) so some people might have a fear and it might be rational while some have the same fear that is considered irrational so you keep using the bus and I'll stick with 2-by-4's
